A Taste of The Job
As Senior Commercial Manager, you’ll lead strategic customer relationships across key national accounts, managing joint business plans, commercial negotiations and promotional planning to deliver sustainable, profitable growth.
You’ll be comfortable shaping strategy, influencing at senior level, and collaborating cross-functionally across marketing, supply chain and finance. This is a pivotal role in the team, with clear visibility and opportunity to shape the future of the Off-Trade channel.
We’re looking for someone with the commercial confidence, strategic mindset, and grocery know-how to own key accounts, elevate performance, and inspire others.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute customer-specific commercial strategies that drive growth, profitability and brand equity.
- Manage senior-level relationships with key UK retail partners, building trust and unlocking new opportunities.
- Oversee promotional planning, brand activation and commercial investments with a sharp eye on ROI.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure seamless execution and alignment of commercial plans.
- Drive forecasting, budgeting and performance tracking for your customers and portfolio.
- Lead and develop one direct report and contribute to team-wide commercial capability building.
- Act as a brand ambassador, market expert and category champion.
A Bit About You
- You bring 7+ years’ experience in commercial roles within FMCG, ideally in branded drinks or similar fast-paced categories.
- You’ve managed key customers directly and are comfortable leading commercial relationships at a senior level.
- You understand retail dynamics and can confidently influence buyers, internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- You think commercially and act strategically – you know how to deliver results while building for the long term.
- You thrive in a growing, agile environment and can balance operational delivery with forward-thinking leadership.
- You’re a natural collaborator, excellent communicator, and passionate about brands and commercial excellence.
- You’re flexible to travel across the UK, with regular presence at our London HQ and Warrington GJD.
