What’s the role? ……
We are looking for a behaviour change expert to lead the development and delivery of the communications and behaviour change strategy for our Waste and Recycling programme. You will be responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating integrated behaviour change campaign plans to support the programme, including reducing contamination, increasing recycling, and shifting public perception. We have ambitious targets for the programme and want someone with the experience and attitude to match!

What We’re Looking For
You will have an excellent working knowledge of campaigns, engagement and all things behaviour change. This role requires someone who can write a strategy, but also get down into the detail of content creation, it's all hands on deck in the Comms team at Lewisham! You will enjoy working with people as you will work closely with the Recycling Advisors and collection crew, as well as our local residents, community groups and schools. You will be creative, influential, a problem solver and genuinely want to make a difference!
Location
The job is primarily based in Laurence House,Catford,London,SE6 4RU and Wearside,London,SE13 7EZ but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work in both offices and from home on a regular basis.
Special conditions
- Weekend working out and of hours work may required for this job
- This post is a 2 year fixed term contract

Salary
£53,634 - £55,710 per annum (P05)
N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
