Senior Configuration Engineer (L3 / L3+)
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Configuration Engineer to support our Configuration Management function across a diverse portfolio of products and projects in a multi-national engineering environment.
As part of a team of over 30 specialists, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of product definitions and ensuring robust configuration control throughout the product lifecycle—from development to in-service support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Configuration Managers in delivering configuration control across major project components.
- Manage design definitions and engineering changes using PLM tools (e.g., Windchill).
- Ensure compliance with internal and external configuration standards and customer requirements.
- Prepare and present data for configuration reviews and meetings.
- Provide guidance on engineering change methodologies and ensure their effective implementation.
- Act as a key point of contact for project and engineering teams, fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven expertise in Configuration Management principles within a professional engineering environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and order.
- Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and digital—across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute proactively.
- High level of IT literacy and experience with PLM systems.
