Senior Consultant - Hedge Fund Technology Search

We’re establishing our Technology Search team and are looking for a consultant to partner closely with the Head of Technology and help shape the team’s strategy, structure, and growth. This is an opportunity to join as the first senior hire, step into a high-impact role, take real ownership, gain direct client exposure, and grow toward Director or Partner level over time. Travel comes naturally in this role, whether closing major mandates, spending time with clients, or supporting the team where needed.

If you already have strong connections, there’s room to manage and grow them here; the focus is on long-term, collaborative builds without splits. Longer term, the team will naturally split into verticals, and you’ll be involved in shaping what that looks like.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and deliver search mandates across hedge fund and trading firm technology teams
• Advise clients on talent strategy for front-office and infrastructure technology roles
• Build and manage senior candidate relationships across software engineering, data, and quant technology
• Develop market intelligence and contribute to the long-term growth of the Technology team
• Partner closely with the Head of Technology on team strategy, hiring, and client development
• Act as a trusted advisor to both clients and candidates

Who You Are

• Proven experience in search or recruitment, ideally within technology or financial services
• Strong track record of candidate delivery and relationship management
• Commercially minded, motivated to grow a team rather than just work roles
• Confident communicator, comfortable with senior stakeholders
• Motivated by autonomy, high-quality work, and long-term career progression
