Job Title: Senior Control Systems Engineer

Salary: Up to £56,833 commensurate with skills and experience
What You’ll Be Doing
- You will be responsible for all functional design activities in relation to role
- Ensure that you deliver engineering effort to quality and schedule
- Highlight disputes both internally and externally
- Interface to other disciplines/areas of the business
- You will support engineering training and development
- Provide engineering support in relation to Project milestones
- Ensure you support IPMS engineering management activities
- You will coach, develop and motivate engineers
- Lead system development in relation to product lifecycle
Essential
Your skills and experiences:
- Engineering Degree (Electrical/ Electronics)
- Experience in Functional design
- Experience of working on large, complex projects in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Understanding of safety design
- Working towards completion of professional accreditation with a recognised institute
Desirable
- Experience of working on Naval projects/ Oil & Gas/ Nuclear
- Working knowledge of LCM processes & tools
- SCADA Experience

The Integrated Platform Management Team
The Integrated Platform Management Team are responsible for developing the control system which allows ship service to interact remotely which allows for a reduced crew requirement.
The role is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced project, with diverse stakeholders from Europe and North America working closely to deliver complex warships which to suit the future needs of the Royal Canadian Navy.
