Purpose of the Job
As Senior Creative Strategist within the Creative Technologies team, you will define the voice, logic, and creative posture of the brands we bring to life. This role requires a fast-moving, idea-driven thinker who understands how to build brands that resonate in culture and on the shelf. You’ll write briefs that inspire, frame concepts that sell, and work across channels to ensure creative direction is anchored in both the POS story and shopper relevance.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand activation strategy: Shape how brands translate across retail, digital, and experiential environments.
- Brief Development: Take insights from our creative intelligence teams, writing sharp strategic and creative briefs that spark meaningful, executional and activation ideas, especially in shopper and retail environments
- Campaign Strategy: Develop creative territories and campaign frames for client briefs and new business
- Retail + Shopper Thinking: Understand how brands influence purchase and perception in physical retail environments, and apply that to campaigns and activations
- AI-Enhanced Strategy: Leverage AI to mine insights, test hypotheses, and accelerate idea generation
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with commercial teams, creatives, technologists, and producers to ensure consistency.
- Cultural Relevance: Keep ideas culturally aware, rooted in shopper psychology, market dynamics, and cultural shifts
- Ability to quickly research and synthesise high level insights using modern processes and tools.
- Pitching: Be confident working with speed and the ambiguity of modern pitch processes.
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
- Very strong experience in creative strategy, brand strategy, or campaign development, ideally with good retail or shopper experience
- Confidence shaping ideas that live both in culture and in commercial spaces for fortune 500’s
- Great storytelling and presentation skills
- Experience working across physical and digital environments
- Strong writing, storytelling, and exceptional framing ability
- Fluency in fast, collaborative, AI-enhanced working.
