Senior CT Radiographer

The Radiographer will be expected to work as a core member of the CT imaging team in all CT departments on the Royal Sussex County Hospital (RSCH) site, as well as achieve competence in all areas required as part of the emergency OOH service. The radiographer will need to be able to undertake a wide range of clinical duties to provide a high quality imaging service and assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients, encouraging and supporting colleagues to also do so. To ensure the department delivers an exemplary service and experience to patients and members of the public. To ensure departmental adherence to Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations (IR(ME)R) 2017, Ionising Radiation Regulations (IRR) 2017 and the Trusts policies, protocols and guidelines.

Actively participate as a member of the multi-disciplinary team, including the supervision of newly qualified and junior members of staff, assistant practitioners and student Radiographers Support the Superintendent Radiographers to ensure that the day to day running of the CT departments are smoothly co-ordinated.
