Reports to: COO
Job purpose: To work with a diverse range of global customers on challenging projects spanning all security domains to build the capabilities, systems, and processes needed to deliver cyber security improvement and ensure those enhancements will be sustained.
The role will involve:
- Leading and delivering cyber security engagements from customer onboarding to completion: the successful candidate will draw on the in-depth knowledge of ITC’s service offerings, ensuring quality delivery, timescales and objectives are met.
- Applying an excellent breadth of cyber security knowledge to consulting engagements, helping organisations to understand their cyber security challenges.
- Assessing risks to existing and proposed systems and technical solutions and then devising risk management plans to address such risks.
- Producing reports and presentations of an excellent standard and delivering these to customers at all levels of the business.
- Mentoring and leadership of consultants and analysts.
- Developing into an SME for at least one of the services we offer, including a deep awareness of process and methodologies and exploring technology possibilities (continual service improvement).
- Data protection security advice and consultancy.
- Supporting and leading internal projects to improve operational practices.
- Providing expert leadership for our customers in the development, implementation, and maintenance of an information security programme and associated infrastructure in a CISO capacity.
We are looking for someone with:
- Possession of relevant professional qualifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CCISO) or a willingness to work towards attaining the qualification (essential).
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards such as NIST 800-53, SANS 20 CSC, ISO 2700 Series, PCI DSS, GDPR, and regulations (e.g. NIS2, DORA).
- Comprehensive knowledge of cloud technologies.
- Understanding of risk, and experience of using a range of risk assessment methodologies, along with knowledge of security architecture.
- Extensive demonstrable customer facing cyber security consultancy experience with extensive experience leading strategic customer engagements.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills and comfortable discussing cyber security topics with all levels, including non-technical and business audiences.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- An excellent grasp of cloud technologies and practices (particularly, Azure, G-Cloud or AWS).
- Demonstrable confidence when engaging with customers at all levels of the business.
- Strong commercial acumen, identifying Sales opportunities and following through.
- Project Management qualifications such as Prince2/TOGAF (desirable).
Working hours: Normal working hours are 7.5 hours a day, Monday – Friday.
Working location: ITC Secure is operating a hybrid working model, with the option to access our London, Canary Wharf office when needed.
Travel: Frequent travel to customer sites may be required, which could be UK based or global.
