We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Director to lead our enterprise data strategy and platform initiatives across multiple clients. This executive role requires a strategic thinker and hands-on leader who can collaborate effectively with C-suite stakeholders to define and drive data strategies that deliver measurable business value. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale data warehouse and analytics implementations, spearheading multi-million dollar projects, and fostering innovation through emerging technologies such as Generative AI and Agentic AI.
The Role
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to define and evolve enterprise-wide data strategies aligned with business goals.
- Provide strategic guidance and oversight for enterprise data platform initiatives, ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient architecture.
- Manage multiple client engagements, ensuring successful delivery, high client satisfaction, and value realization.
- Lead and grow a Center of Excellence (CoE) focused on data engineering, analytics, AI/ML, and innovation.
- Drive sales activities including RFP responses, solution design, and pre-sales engagements to expand business opportunities.
- Champion innovation initiatives leveraging Generative AI, Agentic AI, and reusable data frameworks to accelerate time to market.
- Establish and promote reusable assets, best practices, and frameworks to improve project efficiency and quality.
- Hands-on leadership and participation in large-scale data warehouse, data lake, and analytic platform implementations.
- Manage project financials, resource planning, risk, and delivery timelines for multi-million dollar programs.
What You Will Bring
- Minimum of 15+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, analytics, and enterprise data platform leadership.
- Proven experience delivering multi-million dollar data warehouse and analytics projects at scale.
- Strong strategic acumen with the ability to influence senior executives and cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on expertise with modern data platform technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.).
- Experience leading and scaling Center of Excellence and innovation teams.
- Demonstrated success in driving sales processes, including RFPs and client presentations.
- Knowledge and experience in emerging AI technologies such as Generative AI and Agentic AI is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
