Senior Data Engineer with a strong consultancy mindset to join our growing data team. This role is not just about technical expertise—it’s about
partnering with clients, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored data migration solutions. You will lead the transition of legacy client data into the Intapp DealCloud platform, guiding stakeholders through the migration process with clarity and confidence.
Success in this role requires exceptional
communication skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate technical complexities into actionable insights for non-technical audiences. You will lead
client workshops, consultations, and advisory sessions, ensuring a smooth and informed transition for our partners.
Beyond technical execution, you will be a trusted advisor to clients and a mentor to junior team members, shaping best practices and contributing to the wider success of the team.

What You Will Do
- Act as a trusted consultant, guiding clients through the data migration process and ensuring smooth transitions.
- Lead client-facing workshops and advisory sessions, simplifying complex data challenges for stakeholders.
- Engage with clients to understand business needs and deliver tailored data mapping recommendations.
- Oversee data transformation and migration into the Dealcloud platform , utilising Python, SQL, and ETL pipeline processes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, implementation, and professional services teams to drive client success.
- Define and implement best practices for ETL processes, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
- Support junior team members through mentoring and knowledge-sharing.
What You Will Need
- A minimum of 5 years in a consultancy or client-facing role, with a strong understanding of stakeholder engagement.
- Strong experience in ETL pipeline development, data migration, or software engineering.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-specialist audiences.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and a results-oriented approach.
- Experience leading business process reviews, data workshops, and client consultations.
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, T-SQL, and data transformation methodologies.
- Understanding of enterprise data models, including CRM, ERP, PMS, and financial systems.
- Ability to manage multiple client projects with competing deadlines and priorities.
Bonus Skills & Experience
- Experience working in professional services or financial sectors.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Strong grasp of performance optimization and scalability considerations.
