What You’ll Do

• Lead the development and deployment of machine learning, AI, and data science solutions
• Build and evolve intelligent systems using Python, Azure, and MLOps pipelines
• Work with LLMs, agents, graph databases (Neo4j), and our knowledge platform, Project Brain
• Set the standard on code quality, technical mentorship, and engineering best practices
• Engage directly with clients to shape solutions that deliver real-world outcomes
• Help define the product strategy and build reusable, scalable assets
• Champion ethical AI, reproducibility, and responsible development

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years of hands-on data science or machine learning experience
• Strong Python skills and deep knowledge of core ML libraries
• Cloud deployment (preferably Azure) and MLOps know-how
• Experience with semantic models, ontologies, and graph databases
• Passion for mentoring and collaborative development
• Comfort engaging with stakeholders and clients — and explaining complex ideas clearly
• A focus on ethics, transparency, and sustainable AI practices

Bonus Points For:

• Experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, agents, and vector DBs
• Building or deploying AI agents / agentic workflows
• Familiarity with FastAPI, SQL/NoSQL databases
• Background working with project delivery, engineering, or infrastructure data
• Exposure to agile product management and open-source collaboration

• £65,000 – £75,000 depending on experience
