A ServiceNow Developer is responsible for underpinning good development processes including managing tools and testing environments, central code control, contributing to development standards and creating solutions that automate systems. A ServiceNow Developer delivers and integrates ServiceNow solutions.

Essential Criteria

Main Duties

Transform technical requirements into an effective solution to meet objectives
Build complex stories without additional support
Manage live test environments
Identify and resolve issues that are preventing delivery
Develop test plans and strategies, building on the Automated Test Framework where required
Support and maintain ServiceNow instances, including patching and upgrade activities
Work with pre-sales and architects to support, validate and help deliver client presentations, workshops and responses to technical and business enquiries
CSA, CAD and CIS HAM/SAM Pro certified, 2+ years ServiceNow implementation experience including integrations and HAM/SAM deployments
Availability and capacity management. You can manage service components to ensure they meet business needs and performance targets.
Development process optimisation. You can explain the importance of developing process efficiency and the common ways in which processes are optimised. You can support specific activities to improve development processes. You can spot or identify obvious deficiencies.

Desired Criteria

Experience of working on multiple client engagements
ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer and Certified Implementation Specialist
Experience of Agile ways of working

Understanding and experience of low code/no code development such as Creator Workflows

Experience of integrating disparate systems, both on-premise and in the cloud

Experience of less common ServiceNow modules such as HR Service Delivery, SecOps and GRC

ITIL v4 certified
