Role Overview

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and optimising cloud-based infrastructure and automation solutions. You will work within an Agile team, focusing on scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures that support modern digital services.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain AWS-based infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous integration and delivery
Automate system deployments, configuration, and monitoring for reliability and performance
Manage and optimise containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes
Collaborate with developers, security engineers, and architects to deliver high-quality solutions
For Senior Engineers: Provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and contribute to solution design decisions

Skills & Experience Required

Active SC clearance (applications without clearance cannot be considered)
Proven experience with AWS core services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, ECS/EKS)
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Scripting ability with Python or Bash
Version control experience (Git)
