The opportunity


We are seeking a Senior Digital Marketing Manager to lead the evolution of our digital marketing presence, platforms, and strategy across the firm. This is a key leadership role, responsible for steering our roadmap, managing our team of digital editors and specialists, and working across a matrixed, international business to maintain and improve our digital marketing presence.


You’ll combine strategic oversight with hands-on operational excellence—ensuring that we continue to lead in our digital execution, content delivery, platform innovation, and marketing technology alignment. Whether guiding our suppliers, leading projects with our IT and BD teams, or influencing senior stakeholders, you’ll be at the centre of our digital transformation journey.

The team


You’ll be joining our Central Marketing & Business Development (MBD) team who work in partnership with senior stakeholders across the firm to set the strategy and shape the tactics to build our firm's profile. They help to win new work and strengthen and deepen client relationships, using a data driven and sales focused approach. The team is mostly based in London and is made up of over 60 specialists in marketing communications, business development and client service.


As a central team we lead global activities while working closely with our network of MBD colleagues based across our international offices. Whether it's driving a new content strategy, pitching for cutting-edge work, building our brand, or contributing to the development of our client relationships, we're committed to providing exceptional service to the firm and are known for leading the way when it comes to new technology and solutions. What you'll do


Digital


• Delivering on the key strategic goals of the website and digital channels, working in close collaboration with stakeholders across the firm including the international marketing and business development team, IT department, partners and fee earners, website developers and HR.

• Supervising a team of digital marketing and video brand specialists, ensuring collaboration between them to achieve best results and managing priorities and workload challenges to ensure high levels of service to a range of internal clients, including partners, international colleagues and others from across the MBD, IT and HR teams.

• Relationship management and oversight of a range of digital marketing suppliers including responsibility for ensuring ROI and managing the digital marketing budget spend.

• Leading on providing data-driven insights back to the business on the performance of our various digital channels and what this means for our marketing and work winning efforts.

• Advising on priorities and actions for our digital channels based on analytics and on information architecture principles and trends.

• Overseeing the testing of the functionality of the website and reporting any issues with the site to the IT team or with agency partners.

• Line management of digital team


About you


• Extensive experience in digital marketing, particularly within B2B marketing, ideally within professional or corporate services.

• Proven success in leading high-performing digital marketing teams.

• Experience managing and mentoring a team of digital and channel specialists.

• Exceptional communication, leadership, and influencing skills.

• Strong commercial mindset and financial acumen —able to manage substantial agency budgets.

• Deep understanding of how content can be used as an engine to generate revenue growth.

• Strong functional knowledge of what’s needed from digital channels to support excellence.

• Adept at stakeholder management, with the confidence to challenge senior leaders constructively.

• High emotional intelligence, resilience, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset, ability to work hand in glove with a varied range of internal departments and get the very best out of agency partnerships.


The main responsibilities of this role are outlined above; however, this description is not exhaustive, and the job holder may be required to undertake additional duties from time to time to ensure the smooth running of the department. The role may require some working outside our normal working hours of 9:30am- 5:30pm.
