Following several recent framework successes in the South, Binnies is seeking Senior Ecologists to join our growing team of ecologists and environmental professionals based in Redhill, and to contribute to the continued success of our national Ecology Team.
You will get the opportunity to work on a wide portfolio of projects, from nationally significant infrastructure projects to smaller scale river restoration. Our portfolio of work includes flood, coastal and maritime projects, water utilities, transport and renewable power.
One of our newest projects is SESRO (South East Strategic Reservoir Option). SESRO is a 150 million cubic metre reservoir near Abingdon, which is also seeking to provide opportunities to create new habitats and increase biodiversity. https://thames-wrmp.co.uk/projects/sesro/. There is opportunity to have a key role on this project if that is your interest.
Binnies is a registered Ecological (CIEEM) and Landscape Practice (Landscape Institute) and hold the IEMA (now ISEP) EIA Quality Mark, which is a benchmark of our high standards in Ecological and EIA delivery. Binnies are also a sponsor of the Association of Environmental Clerk of Works.
We have an active and supportive ecological community of practice. We will proactively help you through your pathway to chartership if not already obtained, and develop your skillsets in any particular areas of ecology.
