Petalite are a next generation EV charging company with a clear mission: to revolutionise electric charging technology. Through an extensive period in R&D, we gave ourselves the freedom to think differently and the time to reimagine a better way.
Our solutions take EV charging to the point of real change, transforming the way we travel with better EV charging technology. We are removing the charge anxiety caused by today’s infrastructure, creating the freedom to connect, work and explore sustainably.
As a team, we move together. We cannot progress forwards without the people next to us. We never stand still. We learn, we improve, we test until we break through.
We are here to contribute towards something bigger than ourselves. This is a place where everyone plays a part in that vision.
We are looking to recruit a Senior Electronics Engineer who will play a significant role within a cross functional team charged with defining the hardware architecture and managing the flow down of hardware requirements to each of the identified hardware elements.

You will support your designs as an active participant in cross functional integration and test activities and design verification and product certification testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support, and in some cases lead the definition of hardware architecture, allocating functions to physical elements, defining interconnects, and associated physical layer implementations between those physical elements.
- Support, and in some cases lead the specification and selection for off-board mounted electrical components such as contactors, isolators, displays, etc.
- Work closely with the assigned PCB design resources to oversee and direct the PCB layout activity, followed by review and sign-off on the completed PCB design.
- Direct and supervise the assembly of first prototypes. Plan and implement the board bring up tests. Participate in planning and implementation of the integration testing programme.
- Participate to development and continuous improvement of processes within the Quality Management System, defining the product lifecycle for electronics hardware development.
What you would receive:
