Senior Electronics Engineer

As an Electronics Engineer, you will be responsible for the complete design, development, and testing of electronic systems for products used within the space, renewable energy and medical device sector primarily.

🔩 Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop analogue and digital circuits for use in space, pharmaceutical, and renewable energy products
• Create and maintain schematics, PCB layouts, and BOMs using industry-standard EDA tools (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD)
• Perform circuit simulation, analysis, and component selection for reliability and longevity in harsh environments
• Participate in DFM (Design for Manufacture) and DFT (Design for Test) processes
• Collaborate on EMC design, shielding, grounding, and signal integrity
• Support prototyping, testing, and validation (including environmental and vibration testing for aerospace/defence standards)
• Liaise with external manufacturing partners and suppliers to ensure component availability and production readiness
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design reports, and test plans for regulatory submissions
• Contribute to product safety, compliance, and quality reviews (e.g., ISO 13485, ISO 9001, or AS9100)

🧠 Required Skills & Experience

• Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum 6 years of experience in an electronics design or development role
• Proficiency with PCB layout and schematic capture tools
• Solid understanding of embedded systems, power supply design, and signal conditioning
• Experience working within regulated industries (e.g., aerospace, medical devices, or defence)
• Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., CE, MIL-STD, IPC, EMC regulations)
