We are recruiting for a Senior Employee Communications Advisor in our HR and Employee Communications directorate. This role is responsible for developing and delivering employee communications content and products across several internal channels, in line with our communications and engagement strategy.
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring colleagues receive useful and timely information to support them in their work and help them understand the role they play in delivering National Highways' objectives.
Part of the Employee Communication & Engagement Team within the directorate, the post holder - along with a team of Senior Employee Communication Advisors - will help manage the day-to-day development and delivery of our employee communication channels, such as editing and publishing our weekly colleague e-newsletter and supporting the delivery of leadership and colleague events. They will also work directly with a number of specific directorates supporting our Employee Communication Business Partners with the delivery of a range of employee engagement and communication activities, providing specialist employee communication advice and support to ensure all activities are effective, measurable and targeted.
In this role regular travel to our Birmingham office at Snowhill, will be required along with attendance at other National Highways' locations in support of employee engagement and communication activities. This role qualifies for hybrid working and the successful candidate will be required to work from a National Highways' location at least twice a week.
