Job title: Senior Engineer Test and Evaluation

Salary: Up to £43,649 (dependent on skills and experience)
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manages the effective implementation of customer-supplied Statements of Work for environmental testing projects
- Supports Principal Engineers (PEs) in the planning and execution of live trial management activities
- Conducts pre-trial activities including estimates, capability studies, project planning, risk assessments, test plan creation, test fixture design, and supporting documentation development
- Oversees estimating, planning, progress reporting, and delivery of formal reports throughout all live trial phases
- Ensures full compliance with all relevant Company Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) requirements
- Promotes and demonstrates safe working practices at all times
Your Skills And Experiences
- Minimum of Higher National Certificate (HNC), in an engineering or related discipline
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and at all levels within the organisation
- Ability to compile clear and accurate reports that meet requirements
- Have experience in the use of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of using SAP is preferred

The Engineering Department Team
The Engineering Department is a small department within the ETF (Environmental Test Facility) and is responsible for the development, modification, and validation of new and existing methods within the quality management system. Technical responsibility for the conduct of specified trials, including supporting the design and procurement of test fixtures. Responsible for ensuring the test and evaluation quality management strategy is always adhered to. Compile explosive risk assessments based on ETF trial plans
