Senior Events Executive
Exciting opportunity for an experienced Senor Events Executive to join a leading healthcare firm on a permanent basis.
We’re seeking an organised, energetic and proactive individual with strong time management skills and a can-do attitude. You’ll need to be personable, detail-focused, physically capable, and experienced in juggling multiple projects.
Hybrid working: 1 day a week in Hampshire office (4 from home) – ad hoc travel for event attendance also required
Roles & responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of a wide range of events, ensuring effective project management, stakeholder engagement, and budget control.
- Promote the events programme through high-quality collateral, digital content, and communications that engage both internal and external audiences.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across all campaigns.
- Manage the end-to-end execution of events, including coordination with venues, suppliers, speakers, and on-site teams.
- Act as project lead for attendee engagement, producing supporting materials to drive attendance and maximise impact.
- Oversee the safe transport, setup, and breakdown of event materials, including the operation and troubleshooting of AV equipment.
- Maintain strong working relationships with external suppliers such as venues, AV specialists, merchandise providers, and entertainers.
- Source and secure appropriate speakers aligned to event objectives, including motivational, sector-specific, and high-profile contributors.
- Create and analyse feedback surveys to measure success and continuously improve future activity.
- Stay informed on industry regulations and trends, adapting the events programme as needed.
- Line manage junior team members, providing guidance and support for their development.
Skills & experience:
- Experience delivering multiple large-scale events in a fast-paced, professional environment
- A background in corporate events, hospitality, or brand activations
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to stay calm under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and project coordination
- Confident with digital tools and willing to learn new event technologies
- Full UK driving licence required for on-site event support
- Familiarity with tools like Cvent or other event platforms - Desirable
- Knowledge of regulated or health-related sectors - Desirable
- Line management experience - Desirable
