Senior Finance Manager – Consumer Business

London (Hybrid - 3 days in) | 6 month FTC | £80-£90k | Immediate Start Needed

A leading consumer brand, backed by a prestigious international group, is looking for a commercially minded Senior Finance Manager to join its UK finance leadership team.

This is a high-impact role with broad responsibility across accounting, controlling, treasury, and accounts payable. You’ll lead a team including 3 direct reports, and act as a strategic finance partner to senior leadership - owning management reporting, audit processes, statutory compliance, and financial controls.

What you’ll be doing:

• Team Leadership: Manage and develop a high-performing finance team; drive performance and process improvements across Accounting, AP, and Treasury.
• Financial Control: Lead the month-end, year-end, and reporting cycles; ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of all financial submissions.
• Business Partnering: Work closely with the leadership team to provide insight and drive commercial decision-making.
• Statutory & Tax Compliance: Oversee internal and external audits; ensure full compliance with VAT, Corporation Tax, and all relevant regulations.
• Cash & Treasury: Lead cash forecasting and working capital management; key approver for supplier contracts and treasury decisions.

What we’re looking for:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with at least 3–5 years in a similar senior finance role
• Strong audit background and up-to-date knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP, and UK tax regulations
• Experienced in leading and developing teams, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Advanced Excel user with exposure to ERP and financial reporting systems (e.g., Hyperion, Cognos)
