We are looking for a Finance Business Partner with strong experience partnering IT and Technology in a large business. This dynamic business partnering role, ideal for a proactive professional skilled in influencing senior colleagues and motivating change. This role will work closely with Technology leaders, helping them optimise investments and bring impactful initiatives to life. By offering strategic financial insights, you’ll ensure a clear understanding of how our Technology projects contribute to the companies performance and growth.
Senior Finance Manager - Technology
Responsibilities will include:
- Work with IT & Technology team and the FP&A team to drive value through an integrated Strategic and Annual plan.
- Act as a financial advisor to technology leaders, providing insights into how technology can drive business value
- Evaluate how we financially manage technology across the business to ensure this remains best in class considering the pace of change within technology
- Communicate financial insights and technology investment outcomes to senior executives from Finance and Technology,
- Drive the financial management of the overall portfolio of investments across a portfolio comprising a significant number of individual investment projects spanning multiple delivery programmes and priorities.
- Review and challenging cases for Technology investments, ensuring the incremental spend in Technology to save money elsewhere in the business is appropriately identified
- Work effectively with Control and FP&A to deliver insightful Management Accounts and Management Information Packs for the leadership
- Deliver ad hoc financial modelling and analysis to support innovation and business decision making
- Identify & delivering efficiency savings across the cost base and promote cost savings
Profile:
This role requires:
- Qualified Finance Business Partner (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
- Several years experience business partnering with IT and Technology stakeholders
- Good understanding of an IT and Technology function
- Strong data interpretation and analysis skills and commercial acumen
- Experience with Capex analysis and project-based financial assessments
- Ability to communicate complex financial data and analysis in a clear, concise way
On Offer:
Circa £85,000 - £90,000 salary car allowance and bonus and hybrid working
