Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

Location: Lincoln

Hours per week: 37.5 with hybrid working 2-3 days working from home.

Salary: £35-40k per annum.

About the role:

Reporting to the Senior Manager Reporting & Accounts the Senior Financial Reporting Analyst will be responsible for leading a team that provides financial & analytical support across the Trust, delivering high quality, timely, business key critical reporting & analysis, developing and improving existing reports within Finance and across the Trust. The role requires a high level of financial, numerical, technical skills and strong excel skills and with the curiosity and capability to use the wealth of data OSJCT has to help build and maintain an analytical center of excellence. This role will require active engagement with stakeholders across the Executive Team, Operations, Care Quality, Finance, and IT.

About you:

• You will be educated to Degree Level and studying towards a recognised Accounting Qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA).
• Have previous experience of managing a team
• Excellent communication skills particularly with non-finance colleagues and an ability to manage cross departmental collaboration
• Proven problem-solving skills
• Strong technical accounting skills, solid commercial acumen and the ability to produce clear and concise reporting
• Good analytical and verbal reasoning, data analysis skills and attention to detail
• Sound business analysis and statistical analysis skills
• seeks out opportunities to improve current processes and contributes ideas to continuously improve the quality of service provided by the function
