Senior FP&A Manager | PE Backed Media Business | London Hybrid
£80,000 - £90,000 plus bonus and excellent benefits
We are working with a fast growing, private equity backed media business operating in a highly acquisitive and IP led environment. The business has a strong track record of value creation and is continuing to scale through strategic acquisitions and portfolio optimisation.
This is a newly created senior FP&A role offering full ownership of the planning and performance function, with significant exposure to private equity stakeholders, board level reporting, and M&A activity. The role would suit a commercially minded FP&A leader looking to step into a high impact position within a PE environment.
The Role:
• Full ownership of FP&A including financial planning, forecasting, performance management and internal reporting to founders and senior leadership
• Build and run the FP&A function, establishing robust processes, tools and reporting frameworks from the ground up
• Develop and maintain integrated three statement financial models and support optimisation of the chart of accounts for clear and consistent reporting
• Lead monthly and quarterly performance reviews, translating trial balance data into insightful management information
• Prepare and present quarterly board packs alongside the CFO and founders
• Act as the primary FP&A contact for private equity investors, delivering clear and concise updates on performance, capital structure and acquisitions
• Own ongoing performance monitoring of acquired assets, partnering closely with operational and commercial teams to identify risks and opportunities
• Support acquisition activity by preparing investment materials, working with banks and equity partners on funding, and integrating new assets into financial reporting and forecasting
The Candidate:
• ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified accountant
• Strong FP&A experience within a PE backed, high growth or asset led business
• Comfortable operating with autonomy and building processes in a scaling environment
• Confident engaging with investors, board members and senior stakeholders
• Strong financial modelling and analytical capability with a commercial mindset
