As our Lead Finance Professional, you will be instrumental in overseeing the group audit, managing external and internal reporting, and delivering critical projects and process improvements. This is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to M&A, systems implementation, and finance transformation within a global capacity.
Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):
- External Reporting: Own the external reporting timetable, processes, and outputs, coordinating with regional and shared service teams to deliver seamless quarter, half-year, and year-end results.
- Financial Reporting: Lead the interaction with FP&A on the preparation of monthly board and management packs.
- Audit Coordination: Serve as the primary contact with Group external auditors to efficiently manage the annual group audit process and delivery of the annual report.
- Technical Accounting: Lead on the technical accounting impacts on internal and external reporting and the implementation of the Group Accounting Manual.
- Process Improvements: Drive standardisation and improvements in current Group Reporting processes.
- Projects: Contribute to finance transformation initiatives, including ERP implementation and entity rationalization.
- Controls: Support the development of SOX-compliant control frameworks and financial risk matrices.
These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:
- ACA or CIMA qualified with significant post-qualification experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS (US GAAP experience is a plus).
- Experience working in a large, complex organisation or group environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
