Senior Technical Project Manager – eCommerce/ SaaS

Hertfordshire

£85,000 - £100,000 + Package

About the Role

We’re looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead a major digital transformation programme for a leading eCommerce client.

You’ll manage multiple software and DevOps workstreams, driving delivery excellence across engineering, platform, and product teams. This is a hands-on technical role — ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, delivery, and business change.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of software, platform, and DevOps projects.
Work within a small, high-performing delivery team across multiple workstreams.
Work closely with engineering and architecture to deliver scalable, cloud-based solutions.
Embed Agile and DevOps practices (CI/CD, automation, IaC, cloud).
Drive programme planning, governance, risks, and reporting.
Act as the link between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear alignment and accountability.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or Technical Lead.
Strong background in software delivery, DevOps, and Agile methodologies.
Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience delivering retail / eCommerce transformation projects.
Excellent technical communication and stakeholder management skills.
Knowledge of modern stacks (microservices, APIs, automation, CI/CD).

This is a onsite role based in Hertfordshire, excellent package on offer, reporting into CEO and working closely with the CTO.
