Job Description
We are seeking a talented experienced and motivated Interior Architect to join our dynamic Interior Architectural Design Team. Specialising in private residential, commercial, and hospitality projects, you will play a key role in designing and executing high-end interiors for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative professional with a passion for residential interior architecture, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Development: Working alongside the project lead, collaborate with clients to understand their vision and needs, developing design concepts that reflect their style and functional requirements across residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. This includes participating in brainstorming sessions, reviewing design plans, and offering creative input to enhance project outcomes.
- Project Assistance: Assist in managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget expectations.
- Supplier Coordination: Coordinate and review contractor and suppliers drawings/information.
- Presentations & Client interaction: Working alongside the lead designer, prepare design presentations for the client, effectively conveying design concepts.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including design briefs, schedules, and progress reports.
- Technical Drawings: Create detailed interior architectural drawings, plans, and specifications. Including details such as; tile setting out, detailed elevations, joinery drawings, plans, sections, RCPs and Small Power Plans.
- Material Selection: Assist in sourcing and selecting appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with the design vision and budget constraints.
- Site Visits: Attend site visits to monitor design progress, ensure design fidelity, and address any issues that arise during construction.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other designers, architects, and team members to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to project delivery.
Requirements
- High level proficiency in CAD software AutoCAD.
- 3D modelling tools is preferable SketchUp.
- Adobe InDesign & Photoshop.
- Excellent design sensibility with the ability to translate the Clients brief into innovative design solutions.
- Strong project and time management skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- A strong portfolio showcasing relevant residential, commercial, and hospitality projects
