Senior Internal Auditor - Insurance - Accounting/Advisory Professional Services

Miryco Consultants is currently working with a leading professional services firm. They are looking to add a Senior Internal Auditor to their insurance advisory and accounting practice. You will be working with prestigious Lloyd’s and GI clients at the core of global insurance.

Responsibilities:

• Design and assess internal control frameworks aligned to risk appetite, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Plan, execute, and deliver internal audits for Lloyd’s and GI clientele, focusing on underwriting, claims, regulatory compliance (e.g., Solvency II, IFRS 17), and operational risk.
• Present insightful audit reports and recommendations to senior stakeholders and audit committees.
• Provide guidance, reviews, and feedback to elevate audit quality of junior staff.

Experience:

• 3+ years of internal audit experience, preferably in professional services (Big Four or similar) or in-house within insurance.
• Strong familiarity with Lloyd’s market mechanics and general insurance business lines.
• Professional accounting or audit qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIA, CISA, or equivalent).
• Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Location: London

Hybrid Policy: 3 days in office
