The role

We are currently looking to recruit an Internal Communications Manager to develop and deliver effective internal communication strategies that engage, inform and inspire colleagues and consultants across the organisation.

The role ensures that our diverse internal audiences feel connected to the hospital's mission, understand key priorities, and have access to timely, clear and relevant information that enables them to deliver the highest standard of care to our patients.

Key Duties

• Develop and implement an internal communications strategy and campaign plans aligned to organisational goals, enabling meaningful two-way engagement across the hospital.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing guidance on effective internal communication approaches and ensuring messaging is engaging, consistent and on-brand.
  
  
• Create high-quality, engaging content for a range of channels including newsletters, intranet, email, video, and in-person or virtual events.
  
  
• Manage internal editorial calendars and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
  
  
• Translate complex and sensitive information into clear, accessible communications tailored to diverse internal audiences.
• Champion internal brand standards, ensuring brand guidelines are understood and applied consistently across all internal communications.
  
  
• Oversee the day-to-day management of internal communication channels including intranet, newsletters, emails, posters, noticeboards and key takeaway documents.

• Monitor engagement analytics, channel performance and employee feedback to continuously improve internal communication effectiveness.
  
  

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in internal communications, corporate communications or employee engagement roles.
  
  
• Demonstrable experience developing and delivering internal communication strategies and campaigns.
  
  
• Strong track record of writing, editing and producing engaging content across multiple channels, including intranet, newsletters and video.
  
  
• Experience supporting organisational change, transformation or cultural initiatives through effective communication.
  
  
• Ability to use analytics and insight to measure engagement and refine communication approaches.
