Senior Internal Communications Partner

I am working with a FTSE 100 company in the gambling industry, and they are seeking to recruit an internal communications partner to join their team.

This is a hybrid working role, 2+ days in the office this is a non-negotiable.

In this position, you will work closely with key stakeholders across all areas of the business. Be a trusted advisor to the senior leadership team, offering advice, alternative solutions or ways of doing things.

You will be an excellent planner with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. We need someone who is a mix of both strategic and delivery-focused. I need an excellent writer who is a natural storyteller. You will have experience in planning and delivering key campaigns, leadership announcements, and company messaging that aligns with key business priorities and objectives, and in creating a narrative that puts your colleagues at the heart of the messaging. You will also work closely with the wider Internal communications team to deliver clear and engaging communications and engagement strategies for the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Play a pivotal role as a leader in the team, helping to role-model and drive a culture of creativity and collaboration.
• Lead and deliver key projects and campaigns across the business, ensuring they engage your colleagues effectively.
• Actively build strong relationships with key stakeholders across your business area and the wider organisation to develop a deep understanding of the business's priorities, challenges, and audiences.
• Be a trusted senior advisor to your stakeholders.
• Demonstrate the ability to challenge and influence at all levels of the business positively and respectfully.
• Ensure communication consideration is integral to all business change programmes, providing advice and challenge.

Requirements

• A solid background in internal communications - this role would suit someone who is looking to develop their IC career further. 50% strategic and 50% delivery focused.
