The Role

This role is part of the International department at PRS, who are a passionate team of over 20 responsible for driving and assuring International revenues that are the highest of any Music Collective Management Organisation in the world. The department works across a range of areas including society relationship and service management, revenue assurance, and direct licensing.

This is an exciting new role in the International Development & Licensing team that has been created to drive revenue growth across PRS managed territories (MTs). This role will play a key role in reconfiguring public performance licensing and sales model across growing territories, and optimising performance of local vendors and sales team. We are looking for a seasoned and inspirational leader with a commercial mind-set, who will constantly seek to shape and innovate strategy to drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

As our Senior Commercial Development & Licensing Manager, some of your day to day duties will include…

  • Advising and leading the selection of contractual models for specific markets
  • Assisting the Director in identifying business opportunities and risks across markets.
  • Setting budgets/targets/KPI's and conducting management reviews
  • Sizing licensing opportunities across verticals and various routes to market.
  • Managing vendors, including setting commission and renumeration models and tracking sales performance.
  • Delivering high-quality induction training and coaching to sales teams.
  • Owning tariff reviews, submissions and approvals
  • Managing legal firms and ensuring they meet contractual SLAs.
  • Overseeing the licensing of PPS corporate large accounts and the sign-off of key deals.
  • Conducting licensing spot-checks as well as vendor audits.
  • Providing monthly reporting on vendors and financial performance
  • Leading key international development special projects.

  • Demonstration of all round proven general management capabilities, with a strong sales and business development bias.

This role requires frequent oversees travel, minimum quarterly.

The Process

Our Interview Process For This Role Is Simple

  • First stage interview will take place virtually on MS Teams.
  • Second stage interview will take place in person at our London Bridge Hub.

This allows you to provide examples of situations where you have had to demonstrate the required skills relevant to the role you are applying for. Location

We offer a hybrid working model, allowing employees to work from home up to three days a week.
