Role And Responsibilities
The Senior IT Functional Lead Supply Chain (SCM) and Purchase to Pay (PtP) plays a role for Mundipharma as the expert for defining, governing and guardianship of the global solution for SCM and PTP across SAP S/4
Hana, Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and other closely coupled systems. They will solve complex business and regulatory requirements and processes for the SCM and PTP disciplines, translating these requirements into IT
solutions and strategies. They are responsible for defining the IT strategy for their area, working with business process owners, super-user community and the Strategic Applications delivery team to execute this strategy.
The Senior IT Functional Lead SCM & PtP will have the in-depth knowledge and specialized skills to solve complex problems and challenges for their function of expertise. This will involve leading the solution design
teams for project as well as the BAU operations, working in a matrix environment and ensuring quality and best practice are followed. The Senior IT Functional Lead will collaborate closely with Mundipharma’s global market stakeholders, IT business partners, global process owners and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of pipeline projects and continual optimization and improvement
Key responsibilities:
- Be the function expert as Senior IT Functional Lead for assigned area, taking ownership of the overall solution and delivery of capabilities to the business. Ensuring requirements, design and solutioning are robust and aligned with best practices and the global templates for SAP S/4, Oracle EBS and closely coupled systems.
- Build and maintain technology roadmaps and IT strategies for assigned area that leverage available and emerging capabilities in our Strategic Applications, aligned to business roadmaps. Building strong partnering relationships with External Software providers and 3rd Party delivery teams, both on-shore and extended (off-shore) teams to enable the development and execution of the roadmaps.
- Experience of authoring functional specifications, test strategies and scripts, cutover plans, data migration specifications and validation approaches and training/user guides. Willingness to support hands on execution of configuration changes, data changes, testing and other system activities as required.
- Able to work independently, escalating appropriately in complex situations or for high impact strategic decisions.
- Ensure solutions and changes to systems in their domain of expertise are made in adherence with correct GXP and Quality Framework classification and requirements

- Domain area qualifications (ie Accountancy
- 2+ full project implementation cycles in SAP S/4 or Oracle EBS
- Significant experience in system implementation and run
- Life Science sector experience
- Multiple sectors experience
- Global organisation experience
- Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA and Oracle EBS implementation projects, operational run and continual improvement activities
- Strong understanding of business processes and best practice for SCM and PTP
- Outstanding communications, collaboration and organization skills
- Ability and desire to work in cross domain teams, providing guidance and
- mentoring to junior team members.
- Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on expertise of SAP S/4
- Knowledge of Oracle EBS with proven ability to learn where required
- Good project management skills with knowledge of ASAP & Agile methodology
- Manage small teams of consultants on multiple projects simultaneously and
- mentor/coach the teams on implementation best practices
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry or another highly regulated industry
- Experience in working with 3rd party vendors on/offshoreIn addition to the above requirements, these are some of the specific skills within each of these functional areas:SCM:
- Experience of working with 3rd Party Logistics providers for integration and automation of business processes that cross parties and systems
- Experience of sale order management and order fulfilment processes
- Experience of global regulations and requirements for transportation of products
- Experience of inter-company order and cross charging processes in complex global regulated scenario
- Experience of warehouse mgmt. best practices and implementation with ERP systems, both for outsourced and retained organisational modelsP2P:
- High experience of procurement tools for both direct and indirect purchases
- Experience on leveraging Esker as a Procurement tool for non-trade purposes would be an advantage
- Deep knowledge of supply chain processes across SAP and Oracle
