The role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Laboratory technician to lead the technical support within our Veterinary School Teaching laboratories. This vital role ensures the smooth operation of our teaching laboratories and contributes directly to the delivery of high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. In this fast-paced environment there’s lots of variety, lots of interaction with veterinary school students, academics and technicians.
About You
You will have:
- Experience in managing a laboratory or teaching environment.
- Specialised knowledge of laboratory safety and experience writing SOPs and RAs.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to working with academic and professional services colleagues.
- A passion for supporting veterinary education and a commitment to continual improvement.
