About The Role
Knight Frank is looking to hire a Senior Lead Marketing Channels to join their Head Office in Baker Street.
Role
Based in our Global HQ at Baker Street, the Marketing and Communications team provides support and assistance for both UK and International Knight Frank offices, in formulating and implementing the relevant strategies and marketing campaigns. Our role is to maximise omnichannel brand impressions that protect and enhances our firm’s reputation while generating high quality commercial and residential enquiries, globally.
You will report into the Head of Marketing Enablement. The Senior Lead, Marketing Channels will lead a team of 4 plus people. The Marcomms Channels team covers; paid and organic social, digital, portals, email, telephony, direct mail and above the line media. You will be expected to be the subject matter expert for the digital channel and will have subject matter experts within the team to support on the other channels.
This role requires team management, stakeholder management and project management skills. The ability to collaborate and bring people together to align to a common omni-channel vision and a strong ‘customer first’ focus. This individual is a team-player with proven experience of delivering across the marcomms channel mix.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for all channels within the marcomms channels division. These channels include digital marketing, social media marketing, organic search marketing, direct mail marketing, content and publications. You will ensure that all channel activity is delivered against the marketing and business objectives
- Work side by side with the Head of Insights and Planning to ensure there is consistency within the Marketing Enablement team
- Manage the team budget (£5+ million) covering media spend and technology/product spend. You must feel comfortable with budget planning and tracking throughout the financial year
- Build the overarching strategy for the channels team and cascade this down within each channel. To build clear strategic documents for each pillar within the team
- Support the channel teams on the implementation of the strategy identified above
- Lead the digital marketing team across all elements within this channel, including paid search, search listings, organic search optimisation, affiliate/portal activity, programmatic activity and email marketing
- Manage a network of agencies and continue to foster strong relationships with each agency we work with
- Manage the ancillary tech products and platforms that facilitate the channel team in their delivery. For example, Infinity call tracking
- Work collaboratively with the web development team, focussing on conversion rate optimization for all channel activation directed to the website
- Drive lead generation for qualified business opportunities across multiple B2C and B2B environments.
- Manage the testing process for the channels team
- Look at the external environment to evaluate new channel opportunities and improvements on existing channels
- Knowledge of analytics, reporting and continuous improvement across digital channels and understand reporting on omni-channel marketing
- Work collaboratively with the wider marketing communications team, in the UK and globally, engaging with experts from PR, internal communications, creative services and marketing operations
Key Experience Required
- Ten years’ marketing experience, preferred
- Marketing, Business, or other relevant degree, preferred
- Experience working with digital tools including,
- Analytics platforms (Power BI, Google Analytics, etc)
- SERP platforms (Google Console, SEMRush, etc)
- Channel specific platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, Google Ads, etc)

- Experience of using the entire marketing mix to deliver impactful campaign and results.
- Exceptional team player, this role requires a highly collaborative approach
- Demonstrable experience in managing media and production agencies
- Confident and articulate; ability to listen, communicate with and present to people at all levels of the organisation
- Flexible, adaptable, and collaborative; able to work individually and as part of a team
- Pro-active and a strong sense of self-motivation
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint
