London South Bank University are excited to be recruiting for the post of Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in Advanced Clinical Practice. This position offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work with other senior academic colleagues in the School of Nursing and Midwifery. Working alongside Registered Nurses and Midwives to deliver high quality teaching to learners. The post holder will contribute to design, teaching and assessment in the Advanced Clinical Practice pathway.
The role will enable the post holder to draw on their diverse range of knowledge through evidence-based interventions whilst translating this into learning opportunities.
We are pleased to offer two fixed-term positions as part of this recruitment:
- 1 FTE (full-time) post available for 12 months
- 5 FTE (part-time) post available for 24 months

About You:
We are looking to hear from candidates who have the following skills/experience:
- Extensive experience in Advanced Clinical Practice
- Experience of working within areas of a speciality and expertise across health promotion, assessment and early signs of illness.
- Experience of working across disciplines, working multi-professional and inter-professionally
- Experience of managing and delegating care to optimise health outcomes whilst utilising resources effectively
- Experience of teaching, assessment and education of learners/junior staff in Advanced Clinical Practice
The ideal candidate will be degree educated, be highly motivated and bring a thorough understanding of the role of Advanced Clinical Practitioner. Have a proven track record of teaching and assessing as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner.
