The role will be working within the busy Landlord and Tenant team, where we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Legal Assistant with proven experience to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with conveyancing or landlord and tenant drafting experience and/or completion and post completion experience.
You will be working closely with the Partners and Solicitors in the team, providing crucial support in a variety of property-related matters.

Key Responsibilities
These will include but not limited to:-
- Assisting with the management of a busy caseload. In particular, assisting with pre and post completion duties such as issuing completed documents to all relevant parties, making the necessary Land Registry applications, accounting for monies and progressing matters until they are billed and closed.
- Making searches and applications as well as responding to requisitions at the Land Registry.
- Managing a busy diary; delegating where appropriate and assisting the team with day to day support and supervision.
- Assisting in training juniors in the team
- Assisting with Companies House filings and making company incorporation applications.
- Drafting legal documents such as letters, certificates, deeds and licences.
- Monitoring client ledgers, paying invoices, billing and drafting Completion Statements.
- Liaising with clients and third parties, ensuring they are kept updated on progress.
- Maintaining and updating case management systems, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
- Opening files and dealing with client care matters including AML requirements.
A law degree is not essential, although previous experience in Conveyancing or Lease Extension/Collective Enfranchisement is preferred. Training and support will be provided and you will be able to work with others as part of a busy team.
The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail complimented with the ability to manage multiple activities. You will be positive and professional in both client and staff liaison. You will be organised and methodical with a can-do attitude. You will be able to evidence good interpersonal and communication skills.
