Company Overview
You will be joining a very well-established, prestigious and highly regarded specialist UK Law Firm as their Senior Legal Cashier on a full-time, permanent basis. Part of a close-knit and high-performing team of 3, this role will report directly into the Head of Finance. Based in their modern City of London office three days a week, you will have the option to work from home for the remaining two days.
Role Responsibilities
In your new role, you will be responsible for posting client/office account receipts and payments, processing CHAPS/BACS payments using the firms banking software, posting and paying supplier invoices through the purchase ledger, bank reconciliations, posting cred card and expense claims, monitoring petty cash and assisting with the annual audit and accounts preparation. You will raise credit notes when required and process bills/reports for the firms biggest clients.
Role Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a medium-large sized Law Firm. You will have a strong knowledge and understanding of the SRA Accounts Rules and be confident with the use of a Legal Accounts software such as Tikit P4W, SOS, Aderant or Elite. You will have good Excel skills and be proactive individual with a demonstrable willingness to learn. You will have an outstanding work ethic, strong communication skills and have the confidence to liaise with stakeholders at all levels across the business.
