About The Senior Lettings Negotiator Role
As a
Senior Lettings Negotiator, you’ll play a key role in expanding our lettings business, building relationships with landlords and tenants, securing new instructions, and delivering smooth, compliant tenancies from start to finish. This is the ideal role for a motivated lettings professional who enjoys working in a busy, target-driven environment and wants to progress their career with a leading independent agent.
Key Responsibilities - Senior Lettings Negotiator
🏠
New Business Development
- Proactively generate new landlord leads through canvassing, referrals, and local networking.
- Conduct market appraisals and convert valuations into instructions.

Client Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, ensuring their properties are let quickly and managed effectively.
- Provide clear guidance to tenants throughout the lettings process.

Lettings Progression
- Arrange and conduct property viewings with prospective tenants.
- Negotiate offers between landlords and tenants to achieve the best outcome for all parties.
- Oversee tenancy progression, referencing, and contract signing to ensure compliance and client satisfaction.

Performance & Targets
- Meet and exceed individual and branch lettings targets for instructions, lets agreed, and new business.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the local lettings market and competitor activity.

Administration & Compliance
- Ensure all paperwork and compliance checks are completed accurately, including Right to Rent, deposit registration, and tenancy agreements.
- Maintain detailed records in the CRM system.
Key Skills & Experience - Senior Lettings Negotiator
✅
Essential: Minimum of 1-2 years’ proven experience in a lettings negotiator role.
✅ Demonstrated success in securing new instructions and closing lets.
✅ Confident conducting valuations, viewings, and negotiations.
✅ Up-to-date knowledge of lettings legislation and compliance requirements.
✅ Excellent communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.
✅ Proactive, organised, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven setting.
✅ Strong IT skills including CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
✅ A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
