Senior Management Accountant

Our client is looking for a Senior Management Accountant to join their finance department based in Cardiff, Wales. The ideal candidate will be a driven professional who thrives in a dynamic, forward-thinking setting and demonstrates excellent organizational abilities. This role is 5 days in the office so you must be able to commute.

Responsibilities:

• Overview of monthly management accounts for Retail, Logistics and Central costs
• Production of budgets, forecasts and latest views to understand the impact of cash forecasting.
• Production and analysis of Store and E-commerce P&L
• Monthly review meetings with budget holders
• Quarterly review meetings with Regional Managers
• Production of monthly P&L Packs
• Interpretation of all financial/management information and make recommendations to senior management
• Provide financial management information to senior management in respect of strategic and operational decisions
• Support the commercial management team with financial implication
• Ad-hoc trading analysis of promotions / offers.

Requirements:

• Advanced with excel
• Strong experience in forecasting & budgeting
• The ability to interact with senior financial and non-financial stakeholders across the business, on a variety of both financial and non-financial matters.
