Senior FP&A Manager – FTSE 100 Organisation (4-Month FTC)

Location: Central London (Hybrid)

Salary: £85,000–£100,000 depending on experience

A FTSE 100 organisation is seeking an experienced Senior FP&A Manager to join its central finance team on a 4-month fixed-term contract. This role will support core planning, forecasting, and reporting activities within a complex cost base.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver financial planning, forecasting, and reporting across operating and investment cost areas.
• Support budgets, financial statements, and performance analysis.
• Lead month-end processes and contribute to outlook and budget cycles.
• Enhance driver-based analysis to improve insight into financial performance.
• Simplify reporting to improve clarity and consistency.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and relevant requirements.
• Identify and challenge key risks, assumptions, and drivers in forecasts.
• Align financial reporting with business priorities and KPIs.
• Share knowledge of evolving FP&A practices across the team.
• Support risk-aware decision-making and maintain a strong control environment.
• Coach and guide team members as needed.
• Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide occasional support to financial control activities.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience working within large, listed organisations.
• Strong exposure to both Opex and Capex.
• Ability to support ad-hoc financial control tasks.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
