Working within TSB's Risk Function, we are a diverse team of risk professionals that help keep the bank safe and secure, minimising the impact of risk events on customers and enhancing the risk culture. In the 2nd Line oversight you will be responsible for working closely with stakeholders across various departments to identify, assess, and manage risks and controls associated with our technology. Your ability to think strategically, provide innovative solutions, and assess risk mitigation strategies will be key to your success.
How you'll make a difference
This Senior Manager Risk Oversight is responsible for partnering with varied business units to build senior relationships and provide effective assurance on the management of Cyber risk to keep the bank and our customers safe and secure. You will be creating and delivering a portfolio of activity to ensure your teams focus on material risk areas that impact our customers most. Including new technologies, privacy legislation, controls, projects, and key business decisions. The key stakeholders for the Senior Manager Risk Oversight are peers across the 2nd line Risk Function, 1st Line Cyber senior management, process and control owners and other control / audit functions.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong technical understanding of Cyber frameworks and industry expectations such as NIST, ISO27001
- Have a strong working knowledge of risk frameworks and the ability to identify, articulate and test controls effectively
- Up to date with industry and regulatory trends to ensure TSB remains protected and adapts to new regulatory requirements, external threats, and exploitation of new technologies
- High levels of gravitas at senior levels, alongside excellent communication and influencing skills to achieve good outcomes
- Proven ability to lead a small team to achieve their potential and have a real and positive impact on the success of TSB
