Salary:
- Assistant Manager: £55,000–£60,000
- Manager: £70,000–£80,000

We're growing our Wholesale Risk & Regulation team and looking for experienced professionals at both Manager and Assistant Manager levels. This is your opportunity to join a forward-thinking team that works on some of the most important issues facing financial services today.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading or supporting technical projects for banking clients focused on risk, regulation, and compliance.
- Helping shape the development of key regulatory topics such as conduct risk, market risk, prudential regulation, and both financial and non-financial reporting.
- Advising clients on regulatory change, industry trends, and the impact on their business operations.
- Working closely with stakeholders across different bank functions (Front Office, Risk, Compliance, Treasury, etc.).
- Managing project teams and contributing to national and regional growth initiatives.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong knowledge of how banks or trading businesses operate, and a good grasp of financial products.
- Experience working with or within financial services on risk, governance, and regulatory matters.
- Understanding of key banking functions and how they interact in a risk-controlled environment.
- Confidence managing client relationships and communicating technical concepts clearly.
- (For Manager level) Proven experience leading teams and delivering complex engagements.
What you’ll bring:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- A solid understanding of regulatory developments (e.g., Basel, MAR, Benchmarks).
- Familiarity with the ‘three lines of defence’ model in risk management.
- A degree in a related field (e.g., Economics, Maths, Engineering) – programming skills are a plus.
- Flexibility to work across the UK and occasionally internationally.
