Responsible for a growing portfolio of £2.5bn in balances, the Savings Senior Manager will play a key leadership role as we seek to sustainably grow our customer franchise through our Vanquis and Snoop Savings Brands.
The agile nature of the team will give the role holder a unique opportunity to vary and specialise their role across a range of product management disciplines, including Balance Sheet and P&L delivery, Forecasting & Pricing, Data Science, Product, Customer & Conduct Governance and overall Strategic development.

Responsibilities:
Balance Sheet and P&L delivery: Work closely with the Treasury function to ensure optimised funding and liquidity planning. Ongoing focus and improvement of our income and Cost profitability levers and effective discussion and action on Business Performance information.
Forecasting, Pricing and Data Science: Work with group partners to develop and manage cutting edge forecasting and price optimisation engines, that leverage latest machine learning and AI modelling techniques, alongside best in class visualisation tools.
Product, Customer and Conduct Governance: Ensuring our end-to-end product lifecycle management drives outstanding customer journeys with customer fair value, consumer duty, regulatory compliance and risk control embedded at every step.
Strategic development: Help articulate and execute the Brand, Proposition, Platform and Distribution strategy for the next 5 years, anticipating changes in customer behaviour to make sure our proposition is at the forefront of the market.
Experience required:
• Significant experience in UK financial products,
• Demonstrable experience in business management, strategic programme leadership, or senior support to executive leadership.
• Experience in working in cross-functional teams and working across product, finance, risk and data domains.
• Understanding of regulatory, legislative and compliance requirements in the UK financial services sector
• Experience of working in the Savings market desirable.
• Familiarity with model governance, performance monitoring, and regulatory expectations (e.g., model risk management).
• Degree-level qualification (or equivalent experience) in a quantitative or business discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Business, Data Science).
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL or similar.
• Strong understanding of pricing and financial modelling methodologies.
• Adept at operating at both strategic and detail levels, with high analytical literacy.
• Highly structured, organised and methodical, with excellent planning skills.
• Capable of handling sensitive issues discreetly and operating with resilience in high-pressure environments.
• Strong data fluency, including the ability to interpret model logic, assess data pipelines, and engage confidently with technical colleagues.
• Demonstrated ability to drive financial performance and achieve business targets
• Knowledge of Consumer duty and Customer fair Value frameworks and their application to Retail Financial Products.
Location: London, Bradford, Petersfield or Chatham (Hybrid working)
