Job Description
We're seeking a highly skilled and driven Senior Tax Manager to join our team, reporting to the Head of Tax. You’ll be instrumental in managing all corporate tax aspects of our UK, EU, MENA and APAC operations, with support from other members of the tax team. The role is ideal for a proactive, hands-on individual who excels in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Key point of contact for region teams (across finance, legal, commercial etc) to provide assurance and alignment across common workstreams
- Implementing and maintaining appropriate transfer pricing policies and documentation (with support from advisers)
- Close collaboration with the Tax team on:
- Automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy of tax processes, and
- Other group-led tasks such as Pillar 2, Country-by-country reporting and cash tax management.
- Owning direct tax compliance and reporting for legal entities across our UK, EU, MENA and APAC regions, with support from other members of the tax team.
- Oversee R&D tax credit processes across UK and explore opportunities for claims in other jurisdictions
- Assist the business with direct tax advice on strategic projects (such as international expansion and new products) on an adhoc basis
Skills & Experience
- Qualified accountant / tax adviser
- 8+ years tax experience in a multinational organisation (preferably in financial services and in-house)
- Extensive corporate tax and international tax knowledge
- Thrives in a dynamic environment, with an ability to adapt and prioritise accordingly
- Brings an enthusiastic, open-minded and hands-on approach to tasks on a daily basis
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to support members of the Tax team as well as building strong relationships across the business
