What will you contribute?
As a
Senior Net New Sales Executive reporting to the
Sales Director, Large Lending Accounts, you will be responsible for driving new business growth across the
Rest of Europe region. Your mission is to identify, engage, and convert net new banking clients, expanding Finastra’s footprint through a consultative, value-driven sales approach.
You will serve as the primary hunter for the region, building high-impact relationships and orchestrating complex enterprise sales cycles to deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and grow a pipeline of net new banking prospects across the Rest of Europe, with a focus on strategic acquisition and long-term value creation.
- Drive consistent sales activity to ensure a healthy, qualified pipeline aligned with quarterly and annual booking targets.
- Engage senior stakeholders across business, technology, and procurement to navigate complex buying processes and position Finastra as a trusted partner.
- Leverage a consultative sales methodology to uncover client needs, align solutions, and deliver compelling value propositions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and solution consulting teams to tailor offerings and accelerate deal velocity.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all lending-related opportunities within your assigned territory.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting through active use of CRM tools and sales analytics.
- Represent Finastra at industry events and client meetings, with up to 50% travel expected across the region.
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 8 years of enterprise sales experience in SaaS, FinTech, or enterprise software, with a strong track record of new business development.
- Deep understanding of the banking and financial services industry in Europe.
- Domain knowledge in Corporate Lending Solutions
- Proven ability to build executive-level relationships and influence decision-making across complex organizations.
- Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to identify client pain points and align solutions accordingly.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Highly self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
