What You'll Be Doing
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of network engineers and domain experts.
- Develop a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
Network Design And Implementation
- Coordinate the design and deployment of network solutions to meet business requirements.
- Ensure scalability, security, and efficiency in network architecture.
Operational Excellence
- Lead day-to-day network operations, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution of issues.
- Implement best practices for network monitoring, maintenance, and optimisation
- Ensure Hygiene Streams exist to handle hardware and software lifecycle.
Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement strategic plans for network infrastructure growth and improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
Partner Collaboration
- Work closely with other IT leaders, business units, and external partners to align network services with organizational goals.
- Communicate network performance and project status to senior management.
Security And Compliance
- Ensure network security measures are in place and comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits.
Budget Management
- Contribute to the budgeting process, including cost optimization and resourcing.
What You'll Bring
- Significant network management experience in a leadership role.
- Consistent track record of running large-scale network projects and teams.
- Deep technical expertise in network technologies (e.g., routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers and VPNs).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
