Job Title: Senior Network Engineer
Location: Frimley. This role will require full on site working
Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing the verification and validation of designs ready for testing
- Providing support to external suppliers as and when required to ensure secure and robust communications
- Oversee the investigation of issues and suggesting resolutions/updates to design teams as part of their day-to-day routine
- Maintain and update the test database whilst applying learning from test runs to future test sets
- Produce documentation required to support the design review process, including: diagrams; technical specifications; supporting calculations; design evidence and justifications
- Ensure network design proving evidence is comprehensive, captured within the requirements management tools and has been endorsed by the appropriate level of authority
Essential
Your skills and experiences:
- Strong Virtual and Physical Network Architecture experience will be required
- Previous experience of working with spine and leaf network configurations/architectures
- You will need to have worked with implementing and configuration of VRFs and VLANs
- Network gateway configurations and protocols experience
- Previous experience of working with Network firewalls
- Knowledge and experience of BGP. LLDP, Spanning tree, clustering
