Join our team as a
Senior Non-Functional Testing (NFT) Consultant, for one of our financial service organisations.
In this role, you won’t just be executing tests — you’ll be
leading test assurance and governance across a complex, multi-vendor environment. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders (CTO, COO, Head of IT) and suppliers, ensuring that non-functional requirements are met with precision and foresight.
This is a
strategic leadership role where your expertise in
Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT), performance testing, and stakeholder engagement will be critical. You’ll shape test strategies, influence supplier delivery, and ensure operational readiness across cloud, data, and infrastructure programmes.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role
- You'll work in a multi-vendor environment to assure service, providing comprehensive reviews to cover areas such as NFR requirements, NFT scope, etc.
- Engaging with several internal and supplier stakeholders across business and IT
- Run the Test assurance capability as part of the IT Solutions Delivery Pillar in the appointed areas
- Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams and management
- Collaborate closely with SIAM to understand the Ops requirement and coordinate with suppliers to ensure the solution covers SIAM requirements
- Create NFT test strategy, providing assurance on NFT testing approach including performance, pen testing, operational acceptance, etc.

Your Skills And Experience
- Deep knowledge and experience in assuring testing operational procedures, auditing, cut-over strategy, etc.
- Good exposure to technology programs specifically around cloud and data projects
- Strong experience with tools and technologies used for NFT testing, e.g., JMeter, Grafana, LoadRunner, etc.
- Experience with large-scale projects and programs working in complex, multi-vendor delivery organisations
- Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills
Your security clearance
Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS)
To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks.
There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required.
There are other criteria and check required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
