We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a part-time Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated team at the Rosewood Mother and Baby Unit (MBU).
The Rosewood MBU is an eight-bedded inpatient unit providing specialist care and treatment to women experiencing acute perinatal mental health issues. Our mission is to support the health and recovery of mothers while fostering the crucial early development of the mother-infant relationship.
We are therefore looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. The post holder will have experience working within mental health, and if possible, experience of perinatal mental health and/or infant/child development.
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who is committed to the development and clinical leadership of the MBU.

The post holder must hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car/vehicle to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
- To provide occupational therapy assessment and intervention to those patients on Rosewood Mother and Baby Unit.
- To support the continued development and provision of a meaningful group programme on the ward.
- To support the Occupational Therapy Assistants on the ward with their involvement in patient care.
- To be involved in multi-disciplinary decisions regarding patient care.
- The senior occupational therapist is an experienced occupational therapist within the multi-disciplinary care team.
