What you will do:
- Work as an autonomous practitioner to deliver a high-quality clinical service that meets the hospital's clinical and strategic needs.
- Provide specialised assessment and intervention for a diverse caseload of inpatients and outpatients, including those with complex presentations.
- Support the development of the occupational therapy service to ensure best practice, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Supervise and participate in evidence-based projects and in-service training sessions.
- Engage in audits and service reviews to continually improve service delivery.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders such as consultants, GPs, and patient groups.
- Represent the hospital’s values and culture positively to both internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- BSc(hons) degree in Occupational Therapy or a diploma equivalent.
- Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as an Occupational Therapist.
- Evidence of post-graduate professional development and additional specialist knowledge acquired through relevant training.
- Experience with a range of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
